It was cold and windy, but we were able to complete our BBQ turn-ins without major problems (see canopy flying 50 feet; luckily no one was hurt). Everyone enjoyed the Friday Potluck CBBQA Finger Eggrolls with Shrimp and Chili-Lime Dipping sauce.
Congrats to Vince and Alexa for GC and Jennifer for RC. Congrats to all who took a walk. We came in 10th amid 29 teams; 8th Ribs, 11th Pork; and 9th Brisket. Chicken was again a no show so it’s back to the drawing board. There we many Father-Son and Father-Daughter teams as BBQ is an awesome family sport. Thanks to Thom, K&K, and City of Hesperia. Thanks to young Ryan Malone from All Sauced Up for being our honorary helper!
