Harry is taking reservations for his brand-new Steak Cookoff Association (SCA) classes in 2025 which will be held on a Sunday.

You will be contacted by email by our Slap Yo Daddy BBQ Class Coordinator with additional details once registration is complete.

Class Details

Each class is limited in size as this is a hands-on class with one-on-one guidance. The classes will normally be held in Diamond Bar, California on Sundays from 7:45 am – 2:30 pm.
This class date is scheduled for Sunday.

Chris Garin – SCA Golden Ticket Champion

Dive deep into the world of steak with Chris Garin, a legacy in steak grilling. With multiple victories in the SCA Golden Ticket contests and competitive experience at the SCA World Championships in Fort Worth, Texas, Chris is here to share his championship secrets. From mastering marination to presenting a plate worthy of a world champion, get ready to be immersed in the art of steak.

Chuck Lauria – SCA Golden Ticket Maestro

Discover the art and science of grilling with Chuck Lauria. Starting as a backyard enthusiast, Chuck’s journey in the competitive steak grilling world is one of passion and dedication. With the title of Reserve Grand Champion from the SCA World Championships 2021, Chuck is a testament to what dedication to the craft can achieve.  Get ready to uncover his unique flavor profiles and championship-winning techniques.

Each student will take home a bound copy of SYD Steak Cookoff Association (SCA) class manual and a frameable certificate of completion of the Slap Yo’ Daddy Steak Cookoff Association (SCA) Class, and one year of free technical BBQ support.
